Urrggghhh im looking at this video because the camera i originally wanted to get (the XT-5) apparently doesnt have a vertical grip attachment posobility which makes it virtually useless for fashion photgraphy which is my main.... I became interested in the fuji platform precisely because they HAVE the dedicated dials for shutterspeed, ISO and aperture which make them much more straight forward and faster to operate as a manual controls user.... I cant stand these scroll wheels with multiple convoluted functions which are easily forgettable and having to navigate through menus for basic camera operations but im so conflicted now knowing the XT5 doesn't have a proper grip system and this custom function stuff and non dedicated scroll wheels seems like a whole lot of extra unnecessary complexities over just using a camera manually... If i wanted that kind of stuff i would be using a Canon anyway because theyre superior for ergonomics and scroll wheels and menu type settings etc... at a loss currently

This video is great. After 3 years posted!! I'm a new Fujifilm user and I have an XT-4. I'm using a Godox Wireless Flash Trigger Pro F II with a Godox V860II flash, but I'm having problems. The trigger doesn't always send the signal to the flash and it doesn't fire, even though my settings are: 1/125, f/5.6. Today, during a pre-wedding session, the flash failed several times. I had to turn off and on the trigger, the flash, and the camera, and reconnect everything to get it to work, but only sometimes. Has anyone else experienced this problem? How did you solve it? I love this idea of printing your photos, I have seen people use their Fujifilm Instax Cameras, but they don't really appeal to me, I like my cameras to have high specs, but this printer solves that, just share photos you have on your phone and print them!

Good tip! I also keep the original RAW file. I wind up with three files -- the original, the psd file and a jpg. Storage just keeps getting cheaper :)

So why not just use Lightroom? For this kind of processing, Lightroom can handle this out of the box

Interesting idea but a big NO to Adobe. Not Photoshop. Not Lightroom. Never again Adobe. And this is sad because I learned on Photoshop over 20 years ago but they have lost my trust and confidence. So please help us migrate to a safer and more secure platform.

Hi Chris, thank you for your content and videos. I have an XT-5 (moved away from 7 year old Canon full frame in April ) and wanted a good all round lens so opted for the 16-55 2.8. I'm now considering a second lens - I am lucky enough to love in an area of outstanding natural beauty and that is what rekindled my love of photography - so landscape and nature photography are probably my top priority but like most photographers I what to shoot street, portrait, family and a bit of everything. If I were to go macro would you recommend the 30mm over the 80mm? I'm guessing with the 30mm I'd have a light walk around versatile enough for macro + daylight street etc but is the optical quality of the 80mm superior for macro - from what I see the 80mm resolves the full 40mp but the 30mm doesn't? Cost is always an issue but I opted for body only + 16-55 because I didn't want to compromise optical quality and go for a kit lens. Sorry for the rant but I value your opinion and wanted to give you enough info. I could just aim for the trinity of lenses over time and in that case would probably go for the 50mm - 140mm - if money were no object!! Thanks in advance

I have Lightroom Mobile on subscription and now Im retired wondering about moving to a non subscription product and Affinity Photo 2 is looking like the front runner.
